Speaker's Bio:
Mr. Yan is an industry leader with more than 38 years of experience in the innovation and technology industry. As the CEO of Cyberport, Mr. Yan leads the digital technology flagship focusing on talent cultivation, industry development, and the integration of new and traditional economies. Prior to joining Cyberport, Mr. Yan was the Executive Director and CEO of SUNeVision. Mr. Yan had also held various senior management positions in large consulting and IT services companies including Accenture, Tradelink and Computer and Technologies.

Mr. Yan is active in public services. He is a member of the Election Committee (the Technology and Innovation Subsector) and serves on the Council of the City University and the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. Mr. Yan is also a member of the HKSAR Northern Metropolis Advisory Committee, a member of the Human Capital Committee of the Financial Services Development Council, a member of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and various industry or professional organisations in the I&T sector. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Yan holds a BBA Degree from CUHK and was conferred the Honoree of the Year by the CUHK Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma in 2020. Mr. Yan is a Distinguished Fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society and received Executive Education from the Harvard Business School.

Speaker's Bio:
Dr Kam joined the MTR Corporation Limited in 1995 and had held various management positions in the Operations, Projects and Mainland China and International Business Divisions. He was appointed as the CEO on 1 April 2019, and has been a Member of the Board since then.

As the CEO, Dr Kam is responsible for all performance of the Corporation and its group companies, both in and outside Hong Kong.

Dr Kam is a member of the Board / Governing Council / General Committee of various charitable and public organisations, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong.

Dr Kam qualified as a Chartered Engineer in the UK, a Chartered Fellow of CILT-HK and Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, and a Corporate Member of HKIE. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering.

Dr Kam was appointed a Justice of the Peace and was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Vocational Training Council, both in 2021.

Speaker's Bio:
Professor LAU Chi Pang is the Associate Vice President (Academic Affairs and External Relations) of Lingnan University, and Professor of the Department of History. He is concurrently Coordinator of the Hong Kong and South China Historical Research Programme.

Professor Lau completed his BA and MPhil degrees at the University of Hong Kong and received his PhD (History) degree from the University of Washington, Seattle. He joined Lingnan University’s General Education Division in 1993 and became a founding member of the Department of History in 2002. He has been teaching Chinese history and Hong Kong history for the department ever since.

Apart from research and education, Professor Lau has been actively engaging in promoting Hong Kong history to the general public. He contributes to newspaper columns and participates in radio and TV programmes on a regular basis. Recently he has completed the Jockey Club Hong Kong History Learning Programme with generous donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, compiling a comprehensive set of local history teaching kits for both primary and secondary school teachers and students.

Living up to the Lingnan motto “Education for Service”, Professor Lau has been sharing his professional knowledge with the wider public by earnestly taking part in community and cultural services. He is currently a member of the Legislative Council, and a member of the 14th CPPCC. He had served the Tuen Mun District Council, Heung Yee Kuk, Antiquities Advisory Board, Advisory Committee on Revitalisation of Historic Buildings, Town Planning Board, History Museum Advisory Panel, Lord Wilson Heritage Trust, Advisory Committee on Built Heritage Conservation and Advisory Council on the Environment.

很榮幸邀請到趙曾學韞教授BBS, JP分享她作育英才的辦學生涯。 趙教授現任香港多間著名公司之主席及董事長，同時積極投入教育事業多年，現任仁濟醫院趙曾學韞小學校董會主席、栢基國際幼稚園聯合創辦人、樂基幼兒學校及樂沛兒幼稚園校監。

Professor Alice Chiu Tsang Hok Wan, Hon. Doctor, BBS, JP, Co-Founder, Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation.

Prof Chiu is a world-famous philanthropist, scholar and entrepreneur with great integrity and social responsibility. She is the Director of Henyep Capital Group and Managing Director of Henyep (Chengdu) Enterprise Ltd. Meanwhile she is also the Chairperson of Operation Smile (Greater China Region), Co-Founder of Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation and Founding Chairman of Greater China Culture Global Association. With her many years of involvement in charity work, she was also the Founding Fund Raising Committee Chairman of Hong Kong AIDS Foundation, Director of Peking University Education Foundation, Standing Member of CPPCC Chengdu Committee and Standing Member of CPPCC Inner Mongolia Xilin Gol Committee.

For the past 40 years, Prof Chiu has been dedicated to philanthropy. With her commitment to support and visit the charity projects in mainland China and overseas, Prof Chiu spends a significant amount of time travelling. She is tirelessly giving back to the community and the underprivileged despite adverse circumstances. Her selfless contributions to the needs of others are insurmountable. Not only did her action impact her family and friends, but also the global business community to participate in philanthropic projects in diverse formats, spreading kindness globally.
